Mid-Columbia Libraries has joined libraries across the state for a program called Check Out Washington, which makes a limited-edition Discover Pass available to library cardholders to borrow. The Discover Pass gives you free access to millions of acres of state parks and other state public lands.

Check Out Washington is offered by Washington State Parks in partnership with the Washington State Library and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and Department of Natural Resources.

How It Works:

A Discover Pass can be checked out at any of Mid-Columbia Libraries' 12 branches; availability is limited. You can search our catalog for "Discover Pass," place a hold, and pick it up at your local branch in person or using curbside pickup.

You can borrow the pass for up to seven days with the possibility for renewal.
