Hours of Work: 16 hours/week; branch hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2 pm – 7 pm

Salary Range: Starts at $15.47/hour (2021 Salary Schedule – CLS1 classification)

Job Summary:

Mid-Columbia Libraries is currently seeking a library supervisor to oversee library services at our Merrill’s Corner library. In this part-time position, the library supervisor will handle all the day-to-day functions of the branch, including: processing items for check-in and check-out, acting as a liaison with the local community, presenting library programs, monitoring library and collection usage, and resolving customer concerns.

Minimum Qualifications:

We are currently seeking an energetic, customer service orientated individual with the following qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.
One year of library or general clerical experience with public contact.
Or equivalent technical training, education, and/or experience

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of technological devices (such as eReaders) and their application
Experience in teamwork and team leadership
