Type:
Library Program
Audience:
All Ages
Location:

Join us at 4 pm in the Outdoor Learning Center for an informative presentation from WSU Master Gardeners about native pollinators and how we can support them. All participants will be eligble to win a copy of "100 Plants to Feed the Bees" and a free wildflower seed packet, while supplies last!

Following the presentation, staff will coach budding naturalists through a BioBlitz. Using mobile phones and other devices, as well as the community science app iNaturalist, participants can transform a local park or garden into a living laboratory with photo observations, collecting information about your local plants and wildlife for scientists.

Prosser library's #PlantWildflowers BioBlitz aims to explore and celebrate our local biodiversity by shining a spotlight on wildflowers and pollinators that are at the core of healthy ecosystems.
