In partnership with Mid-Columbia Libraries for the NEA Big Read Grant, WSU Tri-Cities English faculty member, Dr. Nora Kuster will lead a lecture that will examine the origins of the concept of dystopia, including the cultural, social, and historical contexts that lead to its emergency and establishment as a literary subgenre. This event is open to the campus community and the general public.
