West Richland Branch Remodel

We're pleased to announce the West Richland library grand reopening is Saturday, April 27! Join us from 11 am to 1 pm for music, activities, prizes, and refreshments. The opening ceremony and ribbon cutting takes place at 11 am at 3803 W. Van Giesen. Stop by and enter to win a new Apple iPad. Help us spread the word; download and print the poster.

The temporary branch will be closed April 21 for Easter and April 22-26 for moving. 

The temporary branch is located behind the permanent branch at 3803 W. Van Giesen. Library hours and services at the temporary branch remain the same as at the permanent branch.

What is the scope of the remodel?

Customers can expect an increased collection with thousands of new items in addition to the current collection.

Once the remodel is completed the branch will have eight public computers and a lounge dedicated to wireless devices like tablets, laptops, etc. Customers can also look forward to a new storytime area with an improved children’s collection, public art, a historic photo mural, new carpet and paint, and a small conference room.
