Job Summary:

This part-time position performs a variety of tasks, including sorting and shelving of library materials; checking in materials from book drops; assisting library customers with basic check-out tasks; and assisting other library staff members with clerical support activities.

Job Summary:

Mid-Columbia Libraries (MCL) is seeking a flexible, customer service focused leader to serve as Customer Service Supervisor for our central library, the Kennewick Branch, in accordance with the mission, budget, policies and procedures of MCL.  The Customer Service Supervisor will supervise Page staff; provide public service reference in person, by telephone and electronically; assist and instruct the public in the use of MCL resources, facilities and policies; explains MCL policies and procedures to library customers and staff and resolves related questions and concerns.

Minimum Qualifications:

Successful candidates will have an Associate of Arts degree with at least two (2) years of relevant library experience, lead or supervisory experience desired or equivalent technical training, education, and/or experience.

Job Summary:

Mid-Columbia Libraries is seeking a community-focused leader to serve as Assistant Branch Manager for our central library, the Kennewick Branch. The Assistant Branch Manager assists in the management of our largest library (over 900,000 items circulated and 58,000 computer sessions in 2019) in accordance with the mission, budget, policies and procedures of the Mid‐Columbia Libraries (MCL).  In this position, the Assistant Branch Manager provides system level support through developing, coordinating, and providing training, supervising MCL substitutes, and working on special projects; supervises union and non‐union employees to successfully complete assigned projects and programs; provides continuing education on public library best practices to staff while demonstrating a strong commitment to continual improvement of customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:
