The current Mid-Columbia Libraries' West Richland Branch opened to the public in 1996. We are located near the Yakima River Gateway in downtown West Richland. Thanks to the citizens of West Richland who voted in 2016 to approve a City of West Richland levy lid lift to fund library operations. We now offer Sunday hours for the first time in our history and are open seven days a week.

The West Richland community values Mid-Columbia Libraries' robust digital collection, which offers thousands of eBooks and eAudiobooks for reading and listening on the go. Come talk to our friendly staff about how you can access one of the largest digital collections in the state from your phone or tablet.

Homebound, convalescing, or unable to visit us? We offer homebound services in the West Richland area. Contact our staff at 967-3191 to request delivery of library items to your home.

Our library enjoys a long tradition of providing quality programs for children. Check our web calendar for the latest program information.

Need to get online? We provide free, high-speed wi-fi access and free public internet access computers.
