Customer Satisfaction at Mid-Columbia Libraries ranks with Nordstrom


According to survey results, Mid-Columbia Libraries’ American Customer Satisfaction Index rating is equal to the customer satisfaction rating of Nordstrom.   “Our customers resoundingly told us they are very pleased with our staff, collection, and services. To see our customers rate us on par with Nordstrom, the gold standard of customer satisfaction, is exciting and should be celebrated. These results are phenomenal,” said Kyle Cox, CEO of Mid-Columbia Libraries.

Mid-Columbia Libraries is celebrating its fifth anniversary of providing downloadable eBooks and audiobooks. On this anniversary, Mid-Columbia Libraries is expanding its digital collection with a new online library experience just for kids.

Giant Book Sale April 24-27 at Mid-Columbia Libraries’ Kennewick Branch

Join the Friends of Mid-Columbia Libraries April 24 – 27 for their Giant Book Sale at Mid-Columbia Libraries’ Kennewick Branch (1620 S. Union St.). For the first time, this year teachers get special ‘first dib’ access to the book sale with Friends members and Mid-Columbia Libraries (MCL) staff on Thursday, April 24 from 5 – 7 p.m. The public book sale opens Friday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., and continues Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1-3 p.m.

Mid-Columbia Libraries hosts free Dia Festival April 26

Mid-Columbia Libraries is hosting a free family event on Saturday, April 26 from 11am – 3pm at Memorial Park in Pasco. Dia de los niños/Dia de los libros is a celebration of Children’s Day/Book Day, and celebrates reading and books for children of all cultures and languages. Dia includes games, prizes, performances, free books and food vendors.
