West Richland

The West Richland Branch of Mid-Columbia Libraries opened to the public in 1996.

West Richland has enjoyed library services since 1957. The library is conveniently located in the heart of West Richland's Civic Center Campus, nestled between City Hall and the Police Station.

Events

It's never too early to introduce your child to the library! Join us each Friday as we make music, learn a little Mother Goose and read some simple stories. Then stick around and visit with other parents and caregivers while your babies play. This program is designed for babies from birth through 2 1/2 years old.

Join the fun every Monday as we sing, dance, play instruments, and read stories at the library. This program is tailored to the needs of kids 2 1/2 years old and up.

Meet our newest Paws to Read team member Tasha! Tasha filled in for us during the month of August and has now become a regular member of our Paws to Read team.  She will be at the West Richland Library to listen to kids read every third Wednesday in the afternoon between 3 and 4pm.  Raise a reader and help build your child's confidence in reading while having fun!

Lego Club is coming to West Richland! The last Friday of each month between 2pm and 4pm, we'll be getting together to design and build new creations out of Legos based on a preselected theme. The Legos are being provided by Mid-Columbia Libraries, but donations of no longer used Legos to supplement our collection are always welcome.

This month we'll be making robots!
