Did you know that the number one priority for Google’s new services development is mobile service?

There is a new link to legal resources under the orange Research Tools tab. Sharon Keever and I took two webinars on legal resources and thought it would be useful to post the best links on the webpage for all of us to use.

Being on the Kennewick Strategic Goal Team for Teens led me to the conclusion that I should become acquainted with everything on the Teen tab of the web page.  For me, the most enlightening information is in the Going to College?, Testing and Financial Aid pages. These pages have useful links to all kinds of information that parents and students alike can use for planning ahead.

In keeping with Strategic Goal #1, take a look at the FOR PARENTS tab on the webpage. Use this area to help yourselves and parents find age appropriate material, find storytime titles, get and print reading lists and any other ideas you have for using the information.

This month, let’s take a look at the Newsletters link on the webpage which is found under the Books and Materials tab. This place is full of terrific reading suggestions for all ages. In three steps customers can subscribe to over twenty types of newsletters.

Older students are going back to school soon, preparing themselves for the fulltime work world. In addition, we serve many unemployed people. We can help our customers with job searches, career development and help with honing their workplace skills using our webpage.  When customers ask if we have computer classes, you can direct them to the Computer Skill area of Learning Express.
