Come and celebrate Children's Book Week at our annual Pajama Party on Wednesday, May 12th. Meet Shreq our special guest! Don't forget to wear your pajamas and bring a pillow. Cookies will be served!

Make sure to check out the impressive Where the Wild Things Are mural at the Connell Branch. The mural, painted by Beth Ann Wood, was an inspiration by Maurice Sendak’s Caldecott-Award winning book.

Fascinating Facts

The Connell Library was built in the old City Hall & Fire Hall Building. The interior oak woodwork and the exterior brick facade was done by inmate labor from the local Coyote Ridge Corrections Center in 1995.
