Board of Trustees
Mid-Columbia Libraries is governed by a seven member Board of Trustees appointed jointly by the Benton and Franklin County Commissioners. Board members' terms are for seven years. Board members serve without salary, but are reimbursed for necessary travel expenses. The Board is the policy-making body for the library district.
They have the power to determine the rules and regulations governing library service and personnel, as mandated by the library laws of the State of Washington. The officers are a Board Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary.

Meeting Information
Board meetings are scheduled on the third Tuesday of the month, starting at 5:30pm. Special meetings and workshop sessions are also held as needed. Board meetings are generally held at the Keewaydin Park Library, 405 S. Dayton Street, Kennewick, WA. Please check the agendas for the specific schedule and meeting location.
