What’s in Newsletters?
This month, let’s take a look at the Newsletters link on the webpage which is found under the Books and Materials tab. This place is full of terrific reading suggestions for all ages. In three steps customers can subscribe to over twenty types of newsletters.
For practical use at your customer service desk, take a look at the entries above the main title “Good Reads in your Inbox”. Click on each of them, Good Reads, Bestseller & Award List, NYT Bestsellers, Authors A to Z, and Book of the Day. I especially like the Bestseller and Awards list, which are extensive and Authors A to Z. You can even use Authors A to Z to get some good biographical information on particular authors. Another excellent feature is a direct link to our catalog for most of the titles.
Look at everything at least three times and remember to add this to your monthly reports and training logs.
How to get there:
Click on Books & Materials on the orange tab.
Look to your left to find Newsletters. Click on it to get to the registration and information page.

For practice, under authors A to Z, look for Rhea Perlman in the Ps and open her autobiography.
